Folake Ogunmekan is a seasoned Human Resource Management expert, business consultant, and certified professional counsellor with over 25 years of experience in corporate leadership, employee engagement, and strategic business development.

She has a strong background in talent management, workplace counselling, conflict resolution, and organizational strategy, making her a well-rounded leader in the field of human capital and enterprise solutions. Currently serving as the Co-Founder and Managing Director of StreSERT Services Limited, Folake is responsible for setting the company’s strategic direction while managing over 2,000 outsourced employees across various industries. She oversees recruitment, HR policy development, employee engagement, and performance management while leading the StreSERT Employee Assistance Program (EAP). Prior to this, she co-founded FOSAD Consulting Limited, a business support services company specializing in HR management, expatriate services, and facility management. She also held key roles at Arthur Andersen (now KPMG), where she provided advisory services to foreign investors, managed compensation surveys, and facilitated recruitment processes.

Folake holds a Master’s degree in Advanced Counselling & Psychotherapy Studies from the University of Salford, UK, as well as an MBA in Finance from the University of Lagos and a BSc in Economics from the University of Ibadan. She is also certified in Faith-Based Counselling, Mediation, and Integrative Coaching, equipping her with the skills to provide holistic workplace counselling and conflict resolution services.

A distinguished professional, Folake is a Fellow of Women in Management, Business & Public Service (WIMBoard) and an active member of several industry bodies, including the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP),
Chartered Institute of Personnel Management (MCIPM), Nigerian Institute of Management (Chartered) MNIM, and the Institute of Chartered Mediators and Conciliators.
